Award winning design for Nashville newspaper
West End Report receives national award, winning "Best of" award for 2nd year in a row

NASHVILLE - Nashville's own West End Report has once again received national recognition for excellence. The publication been named as the best local church or district newspaper by the United Methodist Association for Communication. John Feldhacker and Julie Halstead oversee each newspaper issue. Don Marler, Fern Richie and Sean Williams are frequent contributors.
Popular features of The West End Report include A View from Julie’s Desk, Solid Rock Events and Window into Worship. Each biweekly installment usually includes an article from a member of the church youth group, as well as photos of activities and events.
Horton Group has been handling design for the Nashville publication since 2001. Bettina Nicholson, one of Horton Group’s key staffers, has been leading a wide range of design and communication efforts for the West End United Methodist Church for several years. Bettina says, “I take great pleasure in arranging photos from the West End United Methodist Church to convey a moment in time where everyone is gathered as a community.” Congratulations to West End Untied Methodist Church and congratulation Bettina for yet another award winning design and communication effort.
